🇫🇮 Flight delays in Finland
14 graded routes · 0 airports · March 2025 – August 2026
Where these figures come from
Finland’s own regulator does not publish punctuality data
These figures come from the UK Civil Aviation Authority, which reports every flight at its own end of the route — whichever airline operates it. So this is not a picture of all air travel in Finland — domestic flights within Finland, and its routes to countries that publish nothing, are absent.
What the record shows
On Finland routes the airlines separate clearly: Ryanair arrived on time 25.3 points more often than Jet2. Both fly the same corridors into the same airports, so the difference is in how each is run rather than where each flies.
Because these flights are counted at the other end of the route, the picture is partial by construction. Domestic flying inside Finland does not appear, and neither do its routes to countries that publish nothing. What is here is accurate; it is simply not everything.

Common questions
Which airline is most punctual on Finland routes?
Ryanair, at 77.2% on time across 1,744 flights on those routes. The least punctual was Jet2 at 51.9%.
Does Finland publish flight delay data?
No. Finland publishes no punctuality data of its own. The figures here come from the UK Civil Aviation Authority, which reports every flight at its own end of the route — so domestic flying inside Finland is not covered.
Can I claim compensation for a delayed flight from Finland?
Yes. Finland is covered by EC 261, so a flight departing it — on any airline — can be worth roughly €250 to €600 after an arrival delay of three hours or more, unless the cause was an extraordinary circumstance such as severe weather.
