🇫🇷 Flight delays in France
172 graded routes · 0 airports · March 2025 – August 2026
Where these figures come from
France’s own regulator does not publish punctuality data
These figures come from the UK Civil Aviation Authority, which reports every flight at its own end of the route — whichever airline operates it. So this is not a picture of all air travel in France — domestic flights within France, and its routes to countries that publish nothing, are absent.
What the record shows
On France routes the airlines separate clearly: Vueling arrived on time 30.2 points more often than BA CityFlyer. Both fly the same corridors into the same airports, so the difference is in how each is run rather than where each flies.
Because these flights are counted at the other end of the route, the picture is partial by construction. Domestic flying inside France does not appear, and neither do its routes to countries that publish nothing. What is here is accurate; it is simply not everything.

Common questions
Which airline is most punctual on France routes?
Vueling, at 83.9% on time across 2,586 flights on those routes. The least punctual was BA CityFlyer at 53.7%.
Does France publish flight delay data?
No. France publishes no punctuality data of its own. The figures here come from the UK Civil Aviation Authority, which reports every flight at its own end of the route — so domestic flying inside France is not covered.
Can I claim compensation for a delayed flight from France?
Yes. France is covered by EC 261, so a flight departing it — on any airline — can be worth roughly €250 to €600 after an arrival delay of three hours or more, unless the cause was an extraordinary circumstance such as severe weather.
