🇹🇷 Flight delays in Turkey
106 graded routes · 0 airports · March 2025 – August 2026
Where these figures come from
Turkey’s own regulator does not publish punctuality data
These figures come from the UK Civil Aviation Authority, which reports every flight at its own end of the route — whichever airline operates it. So this is not a picture of all air travel in Turkey — domestic flights within Turkey, and its routes to countries that publish nothing, are absent.
What the record shows
On Turkey routes the airlines separate clearly: British Airways arrived on time 24.9 points more often than Jet2. Both fly the same corridors into the same airports, so the difference is in how each is run rather than where each flies.
Because these flights are counted at the other end of the route, the picture is partial by construction. Domestic flying inside Turkey does not appear, and neither do its routes to countries that publish nothing. What is here is accurate; it is simply not everything.

Common questions
Which airline is most punctual on Turkey routes?
British Airways, at 80.5% on time across 3,533 flights on those routes. The least punctual was Jet2 at 55.6%.
Does Turkey publish flight delay data?
No. Turkey publishes no punctuality data of its own. The figures here come from the UK Civil Aviation Authority, which reports every flight at its own end of the route — so domestic flying inside Turkey is not covered.
Can I claim compensation for a delayed flight from Turkey?
There is no statutory compensation scheme for flights departing Turkey. A cancellation normally entitles you to a refund under the airline's own conditions of carriage, and European rules may still reach your flight if the journey ends in the EU or UK on a European carrier.
