Ireland’s own regulator does not publish punctuality data

These figures come from the UK Civil Aviation Authority, which reports every flight at its own end of the route — whichever airline operates it. So this is not a picture of all air travel in Ireland — domestic flights within Ireland, and its routes to countries that publish nothing, are absent.

What the record shows

On Ireland routes the airlines separate clearly: BA CityFlyer arrived on time 15.3 points more often than Ryanair UK. Both fly the same corridors into the same airports, so the difference is in how each is run rather than where each flies.

Because these flights are counted at the other end of the route, the picture is partial by construction. Domestic flying inside Ireland does not appear, and neither do its routes to countries that publish nothing. What is here is accurate; it is simply not everything.
